Plan ₿ Forum El Salvador is the leading Bitcoin conference in Central America. It brings together heads of state, technologists, entrepreneurs, and Bitcoin educators around nation-state adoption, economics, financial freedom, and freedom of speech.
The forum is the El Salvador edition of the Plan ₿ series, which also runs an annual event in Lugano, Switzerland. Past El Salvador editions have been held across San Salvador venues including the Sheraton Presidente Hotel, the Museum of Art of El Salvador (MARTE), and Teatro Presidente.
Previous speakers have included Paolo Ardoino of Tether, Adam Back of Blockstream, Elizabeth Stark of Lightning Labs, Samson Mow of Jan3, and Jameson Lopp of Casa. The 2025 edition sold out at roughly 2,500 tickets, about half of them to Salvadorans, and was the first Bitcoin conference in the country to run a stage dedicated entirely to Spanish-language content.
