Bitcoin 2028 has not been announced yet. But based on seven years of conference history, we can make some educated observations about where and when it might take place. This page tracks everything we know and will be updated the moment official details drop.

The Full Location History

The Bitcoin Conference has been held every year since 2021 and has rotated between three U.S. cities:

The pattern shows no strict rotation. Miami had the longest consecutive run (three years). Las Vegas repeated back-to-back. Nashville has appeared twice in non-consecutive years. The organizers seem to choose based on venue availability, deal terms, and the desire to keep the event fresh.

Four Possible Scenarios

Miami. Miami is where the modern Bitcoin Conference started. It hosted three straight years (2021-2023) and built a strong association between Bitcoin and South Florida culture. By 2028, it will have been five years since the last Miami edition. A return would carry strong brand nostalgia and could tap into renewed interest from the Florida Bitcoin community.

Las Vegas. Las Vegas proved itself as a capable host in 2025 and 2026. The Venetian provided world-class venue infrastructure, and Las Vegas as a destination city makes travel logistics easy for domestic and international attendees. A return in 2028 would not be surprising.

Nashville. Nashville is hosting both 2024 and 2027. The Music City Center is now deeply associated with the Bitcoin Conference brand. Bitcoin 2024 in Nashville drew over 20,000 attendees and produced some of the most iconic moments in Bitcoin conference history. A third Nashville edition could happen if the city continues to deliver.

Somewhere new. The Bitcoin Conference has grown from 12,000 attendees in 2021 to over 30,000 in 2025. That trajectory could push the organizers toward a new city entirely. International expansion is also possible, though the conference has been U.S.-based since its inception.

When Will Bitcoin 2028 Be Announced?

The Bitcoin Conference organizers have a tradition of announcing the following year's event during the current year's conference. Bitcoin 2027 details were confirmed at Bitcoin 2026 in Las Vegas. Following this pattern, the Bitcoin 2028 announcement would come at Bitcoin 2027 in Nashville (July 15-17, 2027).
