Palm Cove

Palm Cove is a small, beautiful resort town about 25 kilometres north of Cairns in tropical Queensland. The esplanade — lined with melaleuca trees, restaurants, and beach access — is one of Australia's most picturesque seaside promenades. The Great Barrier Reef is a short boat ride away, and the Daintree Rainforest — the world's oldest tropical rainforest — is less than an hour's drive north.

July is one of the best times to visit tropical North Queensland — the dry season is in full swing, temperatures are warm but not oppressive, and the water is at its clearest. Cairns Airport has direct connections from major Australian cities and international connections from Asia.
